Terms of Service

Agreement to terms
These terms cover your use of buildmywebsite.store and the general conditions under which we take on client projects. By submitting the contact form or engaging us for a project, you agree to the terms below. Any project-specific details agreed with you in writing, such as a custom scope or quote, take precedence over this general summary.
Services we offer
We design and build custom ecommerce stores, including stores built on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a headless setup, whichever fits your product catalog and budget best. We also take on redesigns of existing stores, can set up hosting, and offer an ongoing maintenance plan after your support period ends.
Quotes and pricing
Our standard store build is a fixed price of $3,999, paid as a one-time payment. It includes a custom design (not a template), a fully responsive build, catalog setup for up to 100 products, payment and shipping integration, cart, checkout and order emails, basic on-page SEO, two weeks of post-launch support, and direct access to your builder. Larger catalogs, custom integrations, and other custom features are quoted separately, and any such estimate is non-binding until we confirm the price and scope in writing.
Our process
Every build moves through four stages: discovery, design, build, and launch. Most stores launch about four weeks from kickoff, assuming your content and product photos come back promptly. Delays on your end in providing content, photos, or approvals may extend the timeline.
Revisions
The design stage includes revisions until the layout feels right to you, within the agreed scope of your store. Changes beyond that scope, such as additional pages, products, or features, may affect timeline and price and will be discussed with you before we proceed.
Payment
The standard store build is a one-time payment of $3,999 with no hidden fees. Payment method and timing will be confirmed with you in writing before work begins. Quoted extras are charged as agreed in that quote.
Intellectual property
Ownership of final deliverables (design files, site code, and content we create for you) transfers to you upon full payment. Until full payment is received, all work remains the property of buildmywebsite.store. Any third-party assets used in your project (fonts, stock imagery, themes, apps, and plugins) remain subject to their own licenses.
Post-launch support
Every build includes two weeks of support after launch to fix issues with the delivered work, along with handoff documentation and a quick training session so you can manage your store yourself. After that period, an ongoing maintenance plan is available for continued updates and monitoring.
Client responsibilities
Timely delivery depends on you providing requested content, product photos, feedback, and approvals in a reasonable timeframe. Extended delays on your end may push back your launch date.
Limitation of liability
We aim for accuracy and reliability across our work and this site but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or any specific business outcome (traffic, rankings, or sales) resulting from your store.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Changes don't apply retroactively to projects already agreed in writing.
